301 stainless steel strip is a type of metastable austenitic stainless steel that has a complete austenitic structure under sufficient solid solution conditions. Among stainless steel, 301 is the most susceptible to cold deformation strengthening. Through cold deformation processing, the strength and hardness of the steel can be improved, while retaining sufficient plasticity and toughness. In addition, this steel has good rust resistance under atmospheric conditions, but poor corrosion resistance in reducing media and chemical media such as acid, alkali, and salt. Therefore, it is not recommended for use in harsh corrosive environments.
