Product characteristics
The alloy exhibits excellent corrosion resistance to most corrosive media in both oxidation and reduction states.
Hastelloy C-276 is one of the few materials that can withstand corrosion from humid chlorine gas, hypochlorite, and chlorine dioxide solutions. This alloy exhibits significant corrosion resistance to high concentrations of chloride solutions, such as iron chloride and copper chloride.
